My journey with Bellamy

My journey with Bellamy

The lake is a place where memories are made and love stories begin. For me, it’s where I met not only my future boyfriend, Kevin, but also a beautiful friend, Bellamy, who would become part of our journey together.

Kevin and I had just started dating. At first, he seemed a bit reserved, almost awkward, unsure of how to react to the strange girl next to him.

As Kevin and I grew closer, Bellamy’s behavior changed. He became visibly jealous, his big brown eyes narrowing as he watched us laugh and chat. It was as if he sensed the chemistry between us and felt threatened. He wouldn’t let us sit next to each other, pushing me away with his snout whenever I tried to snuggle up close to Kevin. I couldn’t help but laugh, but deep down, I was slightly concerned.

Fast forward a few months, and the dog’s behavior completely changed. As Kevin and I sat together, Bellamy would eagerly join us, his tail wagging furiously as he nuzzled his head against my leg. He’d sit happily between us, his eyes shining excitedly, as if to say, “I’ve given my approval to this couple!” He loves being close to Kevin and me, often resting his head on my lap or nuzzling Kevin’s hand for pets. It’s clear that he’s grown to adore us, and we love him even more.

Looking at him now, he is a perfect example of the power of love and acceptance. He may have started awkwardly, but he has become a loyal companion. I am so happy to have you by my side, my beautiful, big “puppy dog.”🧡

P.S. I will tell you later how Kevin met him in Georgia(state, not country) and brought him home. But that is amazing, we both are from Georgia too🥰
